Cancer treatment is exhausting, and its side effects, such as hair loss, skin changes, weight fluctuations, or scars from complex and extensive surgeries, can shatter a survivor’s confidence. A study across nearly 4,000 young cancer survivors by Laura M.H. Saris found that nearly 1 in 7 felt negatively about their recovering body image. And that’s where restorative aesthetic care comes into play. We offer specialized guidance to help such cancer patients or survivors who struggle with physical changes restore their appearance.
